I liked it. Very friendly, good breakfast, decent room. WiFi could be more stable.

We stopped here on our hike and strengthened ourselves. Everything was great and the host was very friendly. We'd love to come back when we're around.

It's so great here every time! The food tastes wonderful! The hosts are nice and very accommodating! The breakfast tastes very good, the pies and cakes are delicious. The dinner doesn't hurt and tastes colorful. It is also very cheap although everything in the rooms is perfect. Simply great!

First the positive: friendly hosts, rooms are clean and tidy, breakfast very good and no frills, overnight stay including breakfast very inexpensive Cons: Very remote, no menu with Franconian delicacies or standard dishes, no hairdryer in the room

After we had visited the dream garden, the beer garden of the inn laughed at us and we decided to have a bite to eat. The inexpensive food was delicious and the contact was very pleasant. I can only recommend it.

Only one word is needed to convey our experiences: GREAT We were there as a family of five. Our children aged 4 yrs., 2 yrs. and 2M. didn't want to leave anymore. Last but not least, it was the family atmosphere that convinced us. The room was great for us as a family. We ate great there every day, both breakfast and lunch / dinner are highly recommended. Food requests that weren't on the menu weren't a problem at all. The first thing the kids wanted to do in the morning was visit the rabbits and goats that belonged to the inn. There is a beautiful, large playground a hundred meters behind the courtyard. There is a lot to see and numerous destinations in the vicinity. One thing is certain, we will be back.

Spent a few nice days at the Gasthaus Roppel. Rooms are clean, the food is good. We would be treated very kindly. I can only recommend the inn.

A really cute inn in a very rural idyllic setting. The room was a good size and the value for money is great. I was always treated very kindly. The only thing I would have wished for was a blackout blind or something similar, since it gets light very early in summer, of course. In addition, the church bells woke me up every morning at 6 a.m. (they ring every day from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. every 15 minutes.) But of course the inn cannot help and is ultimately a matter of feeling. :)

Very nice cute inn in the heart of Franconian Switzerland. Rooms are kept very nice and breakfast is absolutely sufficient and great. The very friendly hosts are also to be mentioned positively. If we're in the corner again, it's only here.

Small, clear "Kerwas" menu. Bavarian style schnitzel with "Obadzten" baked pork belly, roasted onions & well-balanced gem. Salad, very tasty. 👍

We can highly recommend this house. The price / performance ratio is great! We were welcomed very nicely and looked after in a very hospitable manner. The Roppel family always tries to fulfill their guests' every wish. The house is already 200 years old, but it is always being modernized. Our room with a balcony was very clean and nice. The breakfast was delicious. Everything was there that you need. My highlight was the fresh fruit salad, something you don't get in some 4-star hotels. We felt very comfortable, thank you very much.

Very nice guest house with a rustic atmosphere! Have been there three nights over Pentecost and have felt very comfortable. Nice rooms, always clean. Good location for long walks in the area. Dinner hearty but delicious! And the hospitality of the guests - unbelievable! Very nice family service, even at a late hour always a smile! Breakfast also great, the inn 100% recommend!

Super nice staff. The room was clean tidy. The breakfast for the price top has not every four star hotel everything with love. Any time.
